Room 1 read the big book this week called, "Mrs Wishy Washy" and they loved it.

Today they worked on the big book response of creating a fast word Washing line.

Room 1 loves to read.

They take every opportunity to re-read their favourite books.

Come and have a look.

Year 1 and 2 had an amazing day at St Mary's in Palmerston North.

They did a morning of sports with children from other Catholic Schools.

They ran, jumped, hopped and smiled a lot.

A big thank you to the parents who were able to come over and help out.

Constable Kendrick visited Room 1 today to take a lesson in our "Keeping Ourselves safe", unit.

Room 1 were learning about their body.

Room one are having a lovely time developing their swimming skills with some of their friends from school.

Keep up the fabulous fast flutter board feet.

Room 1 finished their collage flowers this week and on the petals they wrote ...

"things they were good at".

Come and have a look, they look fab.

Room 1 are doing some fabulous art work.

They are using the collage method to decorate their flowers in warm colours.

They will look amazing when they are finished!
