During maths Room 1 have been learning about positional language.

They are learning to use positional language to describe their location and to follow instructions.

Room 1 also moved to music to demonstrate positional language.

Our Anzac Day commemorative space.

Room1 have been using punctuation mime in their reading and writing.

Here we are representing a Capital Letter,

and a Full Stop.

Ronald McDonald visited St Joseph's room 1 and 2 children today.

He reinforced our "keep ourselves safe" message with "make it click" and "stop, look and listen" before you cross the street.

Room 1 demonstrated how they can keep themselves safe in a car - MAKE IT CLICK.

There may be a new career for someone in Room 1.

Room 1 and 2 were on another adventure on Monday the 16th of March.

This time they were learning about bus safety.

They were learning how to get on and off the bus correctly, were their bags should go and how to behave on the bus.

Of course they were fantastic.

Room 1 and 2 went on a little adventure the other day.

They were taught by Constable Kendrick how to cross the road correctly.

They STOP

They LOOK and

They LISTEN for traffic before they cross the road safely.

They did an amazing job, well done room 1and 2.
