Sister Ann
Sister Ann from the 'Mission Sisters' came to visit us today.
She talked to us about her mission work in Cambodia and then she taught us about meditation.
To meditate we sat in a circle with our arms and legs crossed. We then listened to three chimes on the meditation bowl and quietly and slowly said the word, Ma-ra-na-tha, (Come Lord Jesus.). To end the meditation we heard three chimes on the meditation bowl again and slowly opened our eyes.
It was a very peaceful and relaxing experience.
Thank you for that Sister Ann.
First Year Friends
Room 1 had visitors yesterday from, 'First Year Preschool'.
They shared the first part of the day with us.
We did phonics, made rainbows and read to a buddy using 'EEKK.'
Thank you for the visit, we had a wonderful time.
